Stars in a row – and other ugliness
Pavlovka Gallery is one of the most unusual art places in the capital today. And, perhaps, the most remarkable. Occupying a room painted in coal black color (more recently it was two tiny rooms), at the entrance to the building of the Union of Designers, that on the street. Petropavlovskaya, opposite the famous Pavlovka mental hospital, once a week, the institution receives exhibitions for all comers. Is design becoming politics?
Became known longlist out of 60 nominees for the Beazley Design of the Year Award – the leading award in the design world. The exhibition of entries will be held in the London Design Museum from October 18. The names of the finalists will be announced on January 25, 2018.

What pictures are really beautiful?
As Ernst Gombrich successfully noted, Art with a capital letter And it became for us a kind of fetish. You can criticize the artist, telling him that his work is not “Art”, but something else.
